Gratitude, gratitude, gratitude

There are so many things for which gratitude can be expressed. This is the perfect time and space to do it. I am alive and well, that, in and of itself, is a testament to the great Love which formed me.  I am sheltered and live in a country where there is relative safety.  In so many parts of the world today, there is no safety.  I can think. That may just be about the greatest miracle of all. All of this, what we see, what we enjoy, came about from the one thought held within the mind of the our Creator. All is sustained by that thought. To be able to think, to accept ideas, to mull them over, to act upon them is a great gift. Mostly we take it for granted that, if we live in a human form, we can think.  Being able to think and communicate thoughts separate us from other forms of life on this planet. In that we too can create like unto our Creator. All because we can think. Yes, I am grateful for the ability to think.

I am grateful for being me.  Who else would I be?  I am a divine being, created in the image of my Creator, given the grace to create the world in which I live. The ability to change that world using the force which formed me in the first place is mine.  Boy am I glad to be me.  There is no other like me. That is not a testimony to my ego, but an honor to the Creator who created the seven billion human beings living on this planet at this time. God only knows how many in other sphere of existence there are, and not a duplicate anywhere.  No two beings are exactly alike!  It is said that no two hairs on the head of any given human is alike. That is something. The list could go on and on for ever of the things for which I am grateful.

Gratitude fills my heart.
