Motivated By Spirit

Two years ago I published this blog. In the light of today's headlines and current conversation, I have decided to republish it.  We have to begin to chip away at the veil of fear encircling the globe. What can one human being do? In the oft quoted saying by Gandhi, “ be the change you wish to see,” we have inkling. It sounds wonderful; and we say it to one another in smug knowing. However, it does not seems to be working in diminishing the pervading fear. So, what do we do? A simple paraphrase of that saying gives us a clue. ‘ Do the change you wish to have .’ In other words do something about fear in order to live in a fear free world.  Here’s my plan, a very simple one indeed. Say a cheerful hello to a stranger every day. How this can reduce fear, you ask. It is simple. We are all connected. What affects one affects all. By saying hello to a stranger, you are saying; “I’m human, you are human, and I acknowledge our shared humanity.” That is the secret to removing fe

A large part of the plan, for our ultimate transformation, is the amnesia we embraced upon our advent into bodies. In order to fully experience our physical environment, which we created in conjunction with the Oversoul; we intentionally chose to to forget we are more than the bodies we wear, the thoughts we think and the feelings we have. We are on the verge of changing all of that forever.  The often causeless excitement we feel speaks of a foreknowledge of what is to come. The times when we seem unable to contain ourselves; the times when anticipation for event which we cannot name holds our imagination; these are the times which indicate to us that there is more to us and our world than meets the eye.  During those times we sense that our world is on the cusp of a great transformation; and that somehow what we do is of moment to that transformation. We, as planetary dwellers, have been shifting in our inner beings now for almost a century as we count time. There have been minor and major outbreaks of intense spiritual activity in various guises and forms all over the planet. Depending upon where we are in our conscious­ness, we have experienced this shift as a deepening desire to know.  There are those who have sensed and felt this shift , and are processing it from the merely human consciousness, have exploited this need to know in others. Most of us do not wish to know that we are responsible for out worlds; thus we have chosen to abdicate that responsibility to teachers, masters, gurus and whoever is bold enough to claim they know. God does not have any special children. We like to think that some have more of the gifts of evolution than others; because it comforts us to remain within the limiting confines of the social consciousness. There is that in the genus man which is capable of taking the specie to the very stars of which we dream. This propellant is not the fuel in the modern day rockets, but a force within and all around the race itself. This force has been called God . Because th e word God is clothed with so many misconceptions over the ages ; it makes it difficult for one to grasp the import within this great force. It is difficult not to have an image of something whenever the word God is used. There is no image of God except the one which we ourselves give to It. Last year, at this precise time in my personal history, I was recovering from having my half of my colon cut out. That makes me a semicolon. On Thanksgiving day last year, it was a great task to eat and then mostly mush. I have recovered. I am healthy today. See how much I have to give thanks for. The gifts which came my way as a result of the surgery and chemo therapy are too numerous to tell here. I received friends I would not have had otherwise. I received a greater appreciation for the small things. I received the renewed effort to share the wisdom I have been accumulating with so many others. I received the energy and thrust to make this blog post a daily occurrence. I received LOVE. For all those gifts, I am truly grateful, and will forever be grateful. HAPPY THANKSGIVING,  IN LOVE AND LIGHT I BEQUEATH YOU LOVE.

Imagine with me, beings of light, all powerful, free from any type of limitation, able to create whatever reality they desire. These beings know the Source of their existence is love; that the fabric of their lives is love; that the substance of their beings is love. Joyfully they create like unto their Creator spanning ages and universes for eternity in peace and unity. Then the call came for volunteers to go to a planet, who herself had volunteered to be the repository of imbalance, and bring balance, harmony and the consciousness of love to this sector.  These wondrous beings, of the purest light, immediately volunteered with full knowing. They knew that a part of the deal was that they would completely forget the power they so joyously wielded; that they would appear to them­selves and others to be helpless victims; that once caught in the web of the imbalance the planet bore, they would have to expand their way into balance; yet they came.
