 On Friday May 27th, 2022, I went to the hospital to have an MRI done on my head, the reason for this procedure was to let my doctors and NLPs know what was happen within my scull with the errant cancer cells that had wandered into my head and was surgically removed in November of 2021. Before they put me into the machine, they had to inject me with a contrast for their own reasons. Well, the nurse in the MRI center could not get my vein to cooperate; so, I told him " I have a port". He was not trained on accessing ports, thus they had to get a certified port specialist. For over two hours they were unable to find such a person in the entire hospital. Finally, they found such a person working in the ICU and could be spared for the few minutes it takes to access my port and attach the necessary implement through which the contrast would flow into my body in order for the MRI to be properly done.   In 1997 my life fell apart while living in Miami, I had to leave my apartment just weeks ahead of eviction. I tried to get work fixing the computer programs that was slated to crash when 2000 rolled around. However, the field had moved on and the work had moved to India where the programmers there simple logged on and work for far less than an aging programmer would go for. It all appeared quite dire and of my own choosing with the decisions I made, to self-publish three books and promote them. that was the seeming path to the collapse of my personal economy and homelessness without actually living on the streets. I was blessed with friends who gave me shelter. A friend knew someone who had an aging aunt in Daytona Beach who needed a companion. This seemed to be the ideal solution to my housing situation in Miami. I grasped the opportunity and moved to Daytona Beach.
