Consciousness as Cause

Image
Every instance in our lives is of our own creation. Than is a bold statement, but true nonetheless!  If our bodies are leaning toward fat, or hurting us, or exhibiting extreme health, we are the cause. That is so very easy to see for other people, but it is ourselves that must first come to the point of accepting responsibility for our experience. With such acceptance we begin to change the habitual thoughts that cause discomfort. It has been my experience that whenever I allow my constant thoughts to dwell on any area of experience that experience becomes mine.   The story is told of a very wealthy man who lost everything he owned including his health, and was heard to say "the thing I have feared has come upon me." That man's name was Job. Job, whether real or fictional, dreaded loosing his wealth, his health and his children. He feared those things so much they appeared in his experience. Sacred Waters

The Age of Aquarius brings with it the ancient symbols for purification. It is the image of the water bearer pouring out of a jug the living water of life. Now we are all familiar with the symbol for this age as the being with the jar of water on the shoulders of a toga wearing being. In today's world of taps as the giver of water, we forget how important water jugs were to our ancestors. Before the advent of water jars, our ancestors had to live near to the source of fresh water. Science tells us that our bodies are mostly water held in the sacks we call skin. Water then takes on a great significance in understanding our relationship to the rest of the universe. It is my belief that everything on this planet is a symbol for some great truth we are yet to understand. Whe

There were activities to be accomplished upon arriving home and leaving to get the item was not part of the plan.   As I parked the car, I searched in my wallet to ensure that I had enough cash to make the purchase. I did, but had to get out the change purse to make the whole sum. I then got out of the car, and dutifully locked the door. I know there is an angel that watches over the car, but prudence is always rewarded by the avoidance of scrapes.     The door had no more shut than I realized that the key to the car was still in the car.   Calmly, I walked around to the passenger side to make sure that the key was indeed inside the car, and sure enough it was laying quietly on the passenger seat where I had placed it as I searched through my wallets. Unperturbed, I went into the store, made my purchase and returned to the car.   Th
