1996



I was searching for a lost book, and came upon the below letter I wrote to God. I leave it here unchanged as it is still relevant.

December 31, 1996

Dear God:

This year has been one of great challenge for me. Yet I find that my level of trust has grown. It is time for a review, as was as to lay out the expectations that are in my heart to have a solid foundational framework in which to view the new year. 

I am truly grateful for this time on this earth. It is a wonderful life. Although there has been the appearance of lack and material progress, it has been a fruitful life. I know somewhere deep within my soul that Spirit, the motive force behind everything, is striving to be more tangible within my world for the upcoming year. I trust that I will be willing to hear and respond to the call to come up higher. I do so want to stay in the consciousness of your Presence at all times.

As I observe myself shift into a new paradigm, I do know that the hand of Love is on my life. I trust that the personal work, which has been evolving over the past month, will continue to expand. I know that I approach this work with as much honesty as I understand and with a great willingness to serve the Kingdom of Light. I honor all the decisions that have brought me to this moment, and allow the Holiness within my soul to continue to guide and bless me.
I do want material blessings in 1997. I know even now these blessings are mine. Therefore, I accept the increasing material manifestations of money, car, a new dwelling and expansion of the work that is being revealed to me.

My prayer for the planet is the striving toward the Light, being done by so many, be strengthened. I pray that more of the world’s population find peace and prosperity. Bless the President of this country and the leaders of all countries. May a new sense of brotherhood prevail upon this planet. May the Christ come in Its fullness within the heart of all mankind. May the Love which brought us here continue to lead us into more humane interactions one with another. Let the light, which shone in the beginning, shine even more brilliantly in the hearts of mankind.

Father/Mother/God I surrender all of me to you and accept the your guidance and blessings this new year.

  Respite a most wonderful word used to conjure magical places, peaceful settings and moments carrying memories to last a lifetime. I recently had a respite. I have been in hospice for about eight weeks now and while in their care, I've felt cared for and nurtured at the very least. Every staff member that interacted with me was an innate caregiver and i felt it. Thus, when I felt myself getting a little weak i could not figure out why. I said nothing to those around me. Pulling a Jimmy Carter

  I am about to pull a Jimmy Carter. How you may ask. Here's how, I have just signed up for Hospice care. If you may recall the oldest living past President has been on Hospice since February 2023. More than likely, I will do Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve and of course my birthday in February 2024. The decision was a joyous one. For the past two or three months I have been uncomfortable with constant pain in various parts of my body. Palliative care now is much more preferable than the aggressive care I have been taking. I have become quite fund of the caregivers at the cancer clinic as well as the MRI clinic and will miss seeing them. However, it is time to say farewell to them. I will have to find a way to have those wonderful chats with Miss Kat during my ride back and forth to my treatments. Don't get me wrong the cancer drugs and the radiation treatment have decidedly slowed the progression of the cancer that has decided to cohabit the body in which I live. T

What The MRI Revealed

 On Friday May 27th, 2022, I went to the hospital to have an MRI done on my head, the reason for this procedure was to let my doctors and NLPs know what was happen within my scull with the errant cancer cells that had wandered into my head and was surgically removed in November of 2021. Before they put me into the machine, they had to inject me with a contrast for their own reasons. Well, the nurse in the MRI center could not get my vein to cooperate; so, I told him " I have a port". He was not trained on accessing ports, thus they had to get a certified port specialist. For over two hours they were unable to find such a person in the entire hospital. Finally, they found such a person working in the ICU and could be spared for the few minutes it takes to access my port and attach the necessary implement through which the contrast would flow into my body in order for the MRI to be properly done.
